In spite of the odds there are stories of businesses that have survived not just a generation or two, but in excess of one hundred years. To survive the century mark is something that takes resilience.
Zimpelmann Builders history runs long and deep in the Northwood's. Started in 1902 the firm has been involved in the construction of many of the finest homes and estates in the region. Generations of families have trusted Zimpelmann Builders with the construction, remodeling, and maintenance of their homes.
Upholding the commitment to constructing high quality homes and providing customer service that is second to none in the Northwood's, Paul Zimpelmann, the 4th generation owner of the business continues the tradition.
"Based on our high standards and history we have a long standing reputation as a premier general contractor/custom homebuilder," said Paul. "There is no argument that we are one of the most well established businesses in the area. Certainly I embrace and am proud of my Company's history, but I'm careful to not make it my defining point. I've decided I want to concentrate on the history I'm making now more than what we have done in the past."

We employ our own craftsmen and carpenters to maintain control and quality of our work and we partner with the most respected and reliable subcontractors in the area.
Finally, we have a complete, modern and award winning cabinet shop that is capable of creating any type, size or style of custom cabinetry that our clients may need.
